Education & Care at Killeen Street ChildCare Centre
Education, Curriculum and Learning
At Killeen St Childcare we offer a balance of indoor and outdoor activities, great natural environment with a range of activities and experiences eg; outdoor garden, rock garden, vegetable garden.
Each child has own portfolio, includes observations, child’s interests, learning stories.
We offer a play and interest based curriculum that fosters individual potential.
All programs in this curriculum provide rich learning experiences developed through a strength/interest based approach as we view children as capable, competent co contributors and acknowledge them as active participants in learning
Killeen Street Childcare offers extensive separate outdoor playgrounds with many natural and sustainable features.
We follow the Early Years Learning Framework as per our Education, Curriculum and Learning Policy. All Educators at our Service are trained and experienced in areas of early education and care. Due to our high standard and commitment of our Educators, we are able to provide developmental and educational programs for each group of children.
The Educators will develop a daily program, observe the children in their care and plan their programs around the needs and interests of the children in child free time.
